❤️‍🔥 FIRE IN HER EYES – Part 1 (By Rose)

Image
I never believed in love at first sight — until the night I met him. The city lights of Cape Haven were glowing against the rain, and I was standing under the awning of a little café, waiting for the storm to calm. That’s when he appeared — tall, confident , with a half-smile that felt like a secret. “You look like someone who hates waiting,” he said. His voice was low, smooth, with that tone that instantly pulls your heartbeat out of rhythm. I smiled, pretending not to care. “Maybe I just hate being noticed,” I replied. He chuckled. “Then you’re in trouble, because it’s impossible not to notice you.” I should have walked away. But something in his eyes — that fire, that mystery — kept me there. We talked until the rain stopped, about everything and nothing. His name was Adrian . He owned the art gallery across the street. “You should come by sometime,” he said, “I’d like to paint you — if you don’t mind being the reason I forget the world for a while.” The way he said i...

💕 LOVE IN HIGH SCHOOL – PART 2 (By Nana)

It’s been three months since I last saw him… Three months since Skeleton broke my heart and left me bleeding inside 💔 I told myself, “Nana, move on. Forget him.” But deep down, I was still hoping to see him one more time 😢. Then one Friday afternoon, ngibona umuntu efika esikoleni — tall, same smile, same voice. “Nana, please hear me out,” he said. I wanted to walk away, but my legs refused. My heart said, “Listen.” My mind said, “Run.” “Ngiyaxolisa, Nana,” he started. “I was stupid. That girl meant nothing. I swear, ngiyakuthanda.” His voice cracked, eyes wet. For a second, I almost believed him. But then… the memories hit me — the lies, the tears, the way he laughed with her behind the tuck shop 😭. “You only miss me because she left you,” I said softly. “No, Nana, it’s not like that!” I smiled, but it wasn’t the smile he used to know. “Skeleton, some things don’t heal, no matter how much you say sorry.” Silence filled the air. Even the wind felt sad. He tried...

💕 Love in High School – Part 1 (By Nana)

They used to call me  Nana , just a quiet girl from KwaMashu who never liked attention. But everything changed the day  Skeleton  walked into our class — tall, dark, with that smile that made even the strictest teacher forget her rules 😅. “Ngabe unjani Nana?” he said the first time he spoke to me. His voice was deep, calm… and I swear, my heart skipped a beat. From that day, he’d walk me home after school, carrying my books like a real gentleman. People started teasing, saying  “Nana noSkeleton bayathandana” , but I’d just smile. We used to sit by the school field, watching soccer practice, talking about dreams. He wanted to be a DJ, “I’ll be the next Kabza,” he said, and I believed him. But then things changed… Skeleton started skipping class, hanging with new friends, always smelling of smoke. “Nana, ngizok’phendula after exams,” he’d say when I asked what’s wrong. The day I saw him with another girl behind the tuck shop, laughing like we never existed... my...
